DESCRIPTION:Primary construction of the first half of the link between Inspiration and the Piney Creek Trail network has been finished. Ward 6 Councilwoman and Mayor Pro Tem Francoise Bergan will help the community celebrate this important milestone on Saturday\, Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m. \nCoffee\, cocoa and donuts will be served followed by a walk along the trail. Please come meet your representative on the Aurora City Council and thank her for her support in making the connection possible. \nThe trail is a joint project between the City of Aurora and the Inspiration Metro District. The District planned and funded the southern half – the section now being dedicated. The City will soon begin constructing the northern half to complete the connection. If you’re not familiar with the location\, click here to see the closest place to park. Head east on the trail.
