District Board Meeting – Tuesday 8/10 5:30pm

The District’s monthly Board meeting will be held starting at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, August 10th (tomorrow).

Please note that if your question is very specific, does not pertain to the District, or has already been answered, we may be able to answer it directly before the Board meeting.

District Fence Staining Work to Begin Soon in the Vistas area

The District is responsible for upkeep on common area fence staining where it is adjacent to open space. Staining is performed periodically on the outside and top of the fence. Homeowners are responsible for staining the inside of the fence. The fence stain specification sheet can be found on the Fences page of the website. Restaining the inside of the fence can be done at a time of the homeowner’s choosing. If you are interested in arranging for the vendor to stain the inside of your fence, you can contact them at https://simcoefences.com/. Price will vary based on linear feet.

Example of a District-maintained fence

Fence staining will begin soon in Filing 2 of the Vistas area of Inspiration. Please see map below with the highlighted area in green.

Staining will be performed on the area marked in green. Linear feet = 3,000+.

Any District area that is not on this map will not be completed this season. The budget allocated for this season covers approximately 3,000 linear feet of fencing. The District will allocate additional funds to perform staining of more fencing next season, in priority order.

The vendor will be power washing and/or sanding then applying stain. The vendor will use precautions to avoid overspray of water or stain, taking care not to spray into yards or onto pillars. Drifting due to wind may be unavoidable so please remove items of value close to fence lines.

It’s not permitted to attach items to common area fences, please remove anything attached to the fence prior to the fence staining work. If an item is connected to a common area fence, the District and/or vendor is not responsible for damages to the item(s).
