Kim and her family moved to the Inspiration community in the summer of 2022, settling into their dream home on Zante Street across from the Inspiration Club pool. She lives with her fiancé Jon, his son Henry, her mother Cindy, and their two dachshunds, Sebastian and Willow. Originally from upstate New York, Kim has lived in Colorado since 2007. She loves traveling as much as possible with family and friends and values creating lasting memories through shared experiences.

Professionally, Kim brings over 30 years of experience in education. She began her career as an elementary school teacher and later earned a master’s degree in special education. She now works with students who have behavioral disorders, a role she finds deeply rewarding. Kim also serves as a building union representative, advocating for more than 50 educators and collaborating with administrators on policy and procedure issues. Her leadership experience includes four years as vice president of the PTO at Trails West Elementary and participation in multiple neighborhood committees in previous communities.

In Inspiration, Kim is a member of the committee responsible for launching the new community building and is helping shape it into a vibrant space for all residents. She has attended Metro District Board meetings over the past few years and previously served on a neighborhood board from 2004 to 2007.

With a strong commitment to inclusivity and collaboration, Kim is passionate about building connections across all areas of the community. She is especially interested in strengthening relationships between Inspiration and Hilltop, promoting open communication, and supporting events that bring neighbors together. Guided by a spirit of service and a love for community, Kim is eager to contribute as a thoughtful and approachable voice on the Metro District Board.

Kim has two grown children. Her son Kaleb is a commercial pilot based in Houston, Texas, and her daughter Reagan is an account manager living in Bentonville, Arkansas. When she is not working or volunteering, Kim enjoys spending quality time with her family and participating in community life.
