SPARK at the PARK: Friday, June 14th, 2024 – Pathfinder Park

It’s the Cowboy Jamboree!  Come dressed to kick your boots and wave your hats! Can’t wait to see y’all, at the rip-roarin’, boot-stompin’, and heart-warmingly wild Cowboy Jamboree on June 14th from 6-8 p.m.! This is the first of our SPARK Series of concert events for the summer. This event will be held at Pathfinder Park.

Our musical guest is CW & Twenty Hands High. An americana, country, rock group, CW & Twenty Hands High will kick off our summer season. Playing country and southern rock, with a tip of the hat to classic country & red dirt. Join us for some country fun! Read more about CW.

Saddle up and dust off your hats because we’re fixin’ to embark on an unforgettable journey back to the days of yore, where the spirit of the Old West comes alive with every lasso twirl and axe throw. Whether you’re a seasoned ranch hand or a city slicker eager to experience the frontier charm, our jamboree promises a hootin’ and hollerin’ good time for folks of all ages.

• Get ready to dance with live music from CW and Twenty Hands High.
• Two Left Boots will be leading two-step dance lessons.
• Snap a photo with Hogan, the brahma bull.
• Real cowboys will teach you how to rope that special someone.
• We’ll have three caricature artists to draw you in your best western gear.
• Try your hand at the Axe Whooping’s axe throwing trailer (minimum age applies).
• We have food trucks for you to purchase some grub, and a yummy snow cone truck for the kiddos.
• Don’t forget to get your library card ready for the Aurora Library Bookmobile too!

Hitch your wagons, tighten your cinches, and mosey on down to join us as we celebrate the timeless traditions, rugged adventures, and enduring camaraderie of the Inspiration cowboy way of life. Yeehaw!

Food Trucks (5:30pm-8pm)

Get there early for the food trucks to beat the crowd – dinner service starts at 5:30pm. Options scheduled to visit are: Rag Bag Bistro, Golden Goodness, M & M Western Grill, and Snowie Ice Cones. Pay at the truck. Bring your own beverage or purchase at the food truck. We’ll have bottled water available at no charge.
